trying to get this new install all worked out. Builtin VM sucked so gotthis single line customer local carrier voice mail; enabled stutter 435-437 and CO but message wait lamp refuses to come on. Stutter is there; what am I missing. Manual def says it should work.
Also, set message button to dial telco and put in password, but disappointed you have to press intercom or co first; I did add a 9 to the sequence;

I would go over the programming in 435, 436 and 437. In 437 you need to set the extension number along with the CO line number. Use the star key to represent all extensions. That feature also requires a CID card in the system for the CO line that has the LEC provided VM. I believe that once a message is left that the CO line needs to be accessed or a call has to come in and then 4 minutes after the ringing stops the CO line will flash and the MWL should light. This is explained in more detail on pages 106 & 107 of the features manual MrG

thanks but it still does not light. The star key I cannot get to work, but went through the extensions and enabled on all extensions; is there maybe a maximum number; we have 12 extensions...

the system has the CID card but client has not subscribed to CID; could that be the issue? I can't understand why that would be necessary,but... what do you think?
