i need some help on setting a toll restriction, my customer dosen't want any long distance on any phones but does want to be able to dial a particular 800 number at all phones. i'm not sure which toll restricion class to set the phones at and if i need to make any exceptions. i thought that trs-3 would be able to block LD and allow 800s. any thoughts.

TRS level 3 blocks all office and area codes, TRS 4 blocks all area but allows all office codes, trs 5-6 allow all, trs 7 is unrestriced,
level 1 blocks all but allows calls to be transfered to them,
level zero allows the phone to only act like a intercom,
However Level 2 will allow office codes and 1-800 calls but thats it, it can not be modified, my recommendation would be to set it to level 4 then go back and allow 800 and 888 in the table ff7 2# (trs level 3-6)# (area code 000-999)# then 0# to allow or 1# to deny,
Remeber the DBS you have to assign a trs level for each trunk of each port,
thats ff7 7# (extport)# then (Trunk number)# then level assigned for day trs and night trs is 8# instead of 7 as above. Remeber hold and flash move you forward and backwards thru the ports while * and # move you thru the trunks.
Hope this helps

finally got it figured out, i set all phones to trs level 4 and went into table ff7 2# and allowed 800s and the prefix of the only 800 number they dial. one day i will have these dbs systems totally figured out.
