Does anyone know of a good autodialer that can do multiple lines. (something like Vikings K-2000), I need it to interface with phone system, but do not want expense of an IVR type system.

I think the reason you don't have an answer to this request is because it makes no sense. A K-2000 autodialer is an 8 x 8 single port ALARM dialer. You have 1-8 events occur and it dials up to 8 numbers on one port.

An IVR is a voice mail system that responds to digits dialed or can dial and deliver a message to unlimited numbers. A PREDICTIVE dialer can dial to a group of numbers and connect a live person or play a message when it gets answered.

Exactly which is your application, and what is less that the expense of an IVR system? The price of the Viking unit might get you the software to do IVR, now you still need the computer and 4-port card. Your phone system manufacturer might have a VM system for 3x the price of the Viking card, but it's not a dialer.

When you are more specific, you might get a more specific answer.

Maybe he meant he's looking for a cheap and dirty predictive dialer. Is that it? Are you needing to set up a tiny call center?

If so, I am curious to hear the opinion of forum members about the PC based dialers.

I've administered Davox and Aspect systems, but I have never laid hands on one of the little baby dialers.
