I have this system and wanted to use external music source for Music on Hold. On this system there is a jack called "External Music" and when I connect radio or any other MP3 Player ( Which puts music out - I have checked it )but had no luck. I would like to know how I can program the system to look for signals/music from this external jack ? Also, I have KX-T7330 and T7320 phones but have no overlays to program. How I can use this phone to program this system to have external music on hold ? Please help.
Thank You..... Shailesh Patel

Shailesh, If you want to send me an email I can reply back with the manual for that system. You should find the answer to your question there.

Shailesh, on the US version of the KX-TA 308 you would need to enter programming and go to field 111. change it to external. MrG

But the question is how can I go in to programming mode ? From the 7330 phone or from the system control unit. Also, it is KX-TA308HK version and not US. But I hope the programming part would be some what similar. Plese give more directions if you can on how to go in to prgramming mode and do it. Thank You.
Thank You..... Shailesh Patel

Shailesh, I'm sorry but I assumed that you were familiar with the programming procedures. This simply is not something we can walk you through on the open forum. Even by phone this level of service would require a charge and you really should have a certified Tech. come on site. Once there he could handle your problem and also train you in system manager level programming. The link at the top of our home page can help you find Techs. in your area. Best regards, MrG
