guys, is there anyway to make a hunt group on a TA824 ? what i have going on is the customer has a gate phone that they want connected to an extension (which i have already told them is a bad idea if for no other reason than lightning strikes). what i want to do is have an extension number that once dialled will ring all the extensions that we need to alert that there is someone at the gate. If at all possible please advise, and if not please confirm to me that its a dumbassed idea

Pages 68-72 in the TA824 Feature Manual and pages 65-68 in the Programming Manual. Looks like you need additional equipment. As far as the lightning use a sneak fuse across the 66 block for that.

For brokeda's suggestion you're gonna need battery and/or some kind of ring-down device. Viking comes to mind. And there are other outfits that can provide r/d equipment. Just my ol', tired ram is busted! But, in the end, if you have a spare C.O. port, his suggestion is the easiest and simplest to implement. You know what "they" say. KISS  John C.
