cant clear reorder tone on one 7030 unit (co 11) tried reset, turn off of main unit... we had a power failure recently. all else ok but cant figure out how to clear this. the extension takes incoming calls, but i get reorder tone when i press any of the outgong lines. many thanks

The 61610 is a 6 line 16 extension analog system that is very old. If the backup battery has not been replaced then it will default database with a power failure. You say (co 11) I suspect you mean extension 11 which is the program station. Upon default the first 6 buttons should be the CO lines if the buttons have changed order then the phone will need to be reprogrammed. The station reset code for that system is 79#

i tried that but it didnt work... it said ext data clear but same condirion... reorder tones on all 3 co lines. what now?

George, I would default the system and reprogram it completely. If that dosn't clear it then you have a bad station port. It would also be a good idea to put a good UPS on the system before you default it and reprogram it. MrG

Sounds like a line button problem, when calls come in do they light line keys? or do they come in on intercom key. Check if system is set fot night mode, maybe the extension is call barred in that mode

when i press the buttons of the lines they dont light up... intercom does but not the phone lines... is the extension call barred?

George, take a display set and a new 2 pair line cord to the system and plug it into port 11. Put the program switch to program. For a complete system clear use program 99 and follow the prompts. for a station clear use program 98 and follow the prompts. MrG

check the dial pad and buttons that one is not stuck down ( press them all)or swap phone for another one to check port

i took phone to the unit in port 11 and when i hit 98 i got three quick beeps could not clear
