Recently started supporting the ta824 5 CO and 16 ext. The customer wants to answer a incoming call and transfer it to a cellphone if need be. I have went into programming the call transfer to outside c.o. is enabled, trs an cos seem to be correct. When you answer the call hit transf. you hear a tone and when you go to dial the outside number you dial two digits and it says not valid. If you hit the number 9 it picks up ext 8 which has no CO attached. Anyone with a pointer for a newb or know where I have went wrong? Thanks in advance for your help

66Bloc, You need to go into field 400 and disable the CO lines that are not in use. I believe you should also be able to press transfer, press a CO line and dial the number and hang up although I'm not sure. I do know if you disable the non used CO lines you can press 9 after the transfer button and dial out. MrG

County, he will still have to disable the unused CO lines or at least should. "you may have to announce the call before hanging up" that's only if they want a supervised transfer. It was already determined by the attendant hat the call should be transferd so why announce it? MrG

I set this up all the time, yes, Mr. G said it all. Make sure you have the outside of system call transfer allowed.
