My company has a KX-TD1232 with a KX-TD188 E1 module (no analog line, only the E1) installed and we have 3 extension groups (two floors and our call center). Every extension is DIL (I don't think if this is the right way to say it 'cause I'm brazillian and unfamiliar with this kind of terminology, but every extension has its own external number), and we need to use the Intercept Call function (when a call is not answered on any phone, it must be redirected to a specific extension).
The problem is that this functionality (409/410) is not programmable by extension groups, only by CO groups, and our CO group is 8 because of the E1, which grabs a random CO line to use when there's an incoming call.
The installer manual I have does not have all the programming options needed to do this.
I have tested it and it's exactly what we need, we just need to separate the intercept destination of the groups.
Is this possible? Can someone tell me an option I can use to do this?

Don't know about South America but all KXTD I know of, the Intercept is only for CO lines by Group. The TDA line of control units has this function. Call Forwrd to voice mail is your only option as far as I can see.

Wesley,
this could be the Irish model only, but the kxtd has extension intercept routing on 620-621. Like I said it is on the Irish model, but I have found in the pass it is not always on the USA or brazil models, Maybe MrG or Brokeda could confirm this.

Does each dil 1:1 need to go to be intercepted by the same ext or does it need to go to many ext's ? why not use covering ext and let the voicemail route the call "you have reached xxx if you need a live person press 0 now or leave a massage after the tone"

I think he mean't did as to dil, the E1 circuit, I think is like the Pri ISDN. Yes we do have the ddk on all of the connections of the system and we only get 16 extensions on the 1232 base unit, no lines as we can put all ISDN or mixture of analouge and ISDN lines.

OBT & Countwide, are you saying that on a DID we can't simply forward the extension to another extension? It seems like that's all he wants to do. MrG

not saying that, that is normally the way a legit no answer should be handled. be it voicemail or an ext.
