I have a customer who is setting up an office for a short time in another state. In their home office they have a 336 system. Their carrier said that they could put call transfer capabilities on their trunks. The carrier tells me that the feature is the same as Centrex transfer. My question is can the 336 system do this by pressing the "Flash" key on the phone, receiving secondary dialtone from the carrier and dial the distant end to connect the call? Thanks for your help.

That pretty much sums it up. The only problem in using the flash key is that toll restriction is enforced after the flash key is pressed. As long as this isn't an issue, then yes you will be fine.
