i'm using a kxta824 system and i have a couple of SLT phones that have the ability for caller id. the caller id does not work. i have tried using option 9 in the programming tool but i can't seem to get it right? any solutions?
also i am having trouble using the call waiting/flash feature on the SLT phones. when i'm in a call and begin to receive another call i push the flash button on the SLT phone. doing this brings me to the panasonic intercom tone and i cannot get into the new incoming call...any solutions???

it's flash then a 6 to pickup central office
call waiting as far as i can tell actual
call waiting caller id won't work on a single line set even if it supports it if it was used
as a singleline set doe!!!

Cw,I dont know about the usa model, but here prog 628 on the 824 is slt caller id and does come through on a slt extension but is not on by default. This is if optional caller id card is installed.

I know that regular caller id works on single line sets i was refering to call waiting caller
id in other words the you're on the line and you
here a sqeal and you see the call that is waiting on the line that does not work they showed
a slt with a big x through it when describing
that feature.....

sorry only saw and caller id did not notice the call waiting part. :sleep:
