Early versions OBT, and I believe it was only the 7031 and higher, I don't remember, CW may know.
I only used it once or twice and it didn't last long as I was asked to remove it.

the KX-T 7130 would run on 2 pair but off hook
voice announce came down its own pair thats were the 3rd pair came in and I'm sure that the skip a pair concept was kept to make it real easy to hop up from a kx-t 123211D to kx-td 1232 no crossconnect changes just possibly some short
male to female amp ext cables because of the
way the males dressed into the 11D happy turkey
