I have a KX series phone. Sorry I can't be more specific at the moment. It is about 4 years old. For some reason, when we are on a call, the call waiting feature doesn't work. The other caller gets sent right away to the generic phone company's voicemail. Is there a setting on the base unit I have not seen that will allow call waiting to work?
Thanks for reading,
Andrew

If the second call is immediately going to telco voice mail, then you'll need to contact them and ask them to remove busy forwarding. Ask them to activate call waiting on the line(s) instead. Once you have call waiting, you'll need to use the "flash" button on the phones to receive the second call. There's not really any system setting that affects this.
