When running as new PA cable I found a 66 block (up on the ceiling, 30 ft above the office!) in the middle of the run with a splice in it. This splice was connecting the PA TR to a wireless telephone (which also was connected to an analog line) Everytime someone turned on this phone, the PA would distort. Thanks for the help guys.
