The problem: We have a Panasonic DBS phone system that is running the PanaVoice VM system. I am trying to get access to the voice mail of a specific extension but I don't know the Security Code. At the console, I looked all through the PanaVoice system but could only find the Personal ID under Subscribers. I later found a manual and it specifically states "System Managers can not change or set a subscriber's security code at the console, it must be done by telephone."
We don't know what the Security Code is so I can not gain access through the phone to change it. The manual does not seem to say what to do in this case.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

You should seek out a Panasonic Dealer in your area. They should be able to offer you some administrative training on how to make changes to the system.

If you log into the panavoice as the system manager it asks you if you want to change a mailbox. If you answer yes it will ask you to enter the box number. If you enter the box number it will give you the option to delete the current password or delete the mailbox.

I was able to figure this out from another forum. I did appreciate the last 2 posts however, since you gave an actual suggestion as opposed to telling me to contact a dealer. The last post is what I ended up doing. But the real key was knowing that the System Manager ID that is used at the console needs to be converted to a number that is then entered from a phone once you get to that option. I still don't know specifically what to dial to get me to that point so I have to get an outside line, call the company number and let VM pick-up where it will give me an option to dial an extension, at which point I could then put in the numeric System ID. I say all of this for others who may come after me and need specific instructions. Thanks again.

We DO NOT post passwords in the open forum. This information needs to be given via PM or email.
