I connected two TDA100 via gateway card (PBX Method) works fine except it has echo on transfered line. Both the system works fine as standalone (no echo). Customer have most transfered calls from main office to setellite office. Do I need to install echo cancellation card on bothe the system? or just in one office? Is there any other way to cancel echo?
Thanks

What are you linking the systems through? and when you say pbx method, are you giving each pabx a ID or have you set the extension into other pabx as a different number range and setup numbers in (other pabx) and used the tie table to send the calls to other site. Don't think it would make any difference, just wondering. If the echo is on both sides you will need a card in each site

I make it a habbit to install an echo cancel card in any system that is doing Voip or any system that has digital trunks. It's a good practice and will save you from going back to install one after the fact.

I am using VPN using Cbyond T1 lines. You right I am using Tie table to connect other PBX. (Extension numbers are same in both the systems 101-199) SInce they use mainly to call setelite office, I do not know about echo on the call going to main office. Do I install the card in Setellite office where the problem is and all calls are transfered?
Thanks

You will have to do both, if the echo is on the same call on both sides, probaly safer to do both. Do you have a echo on internal calls across the network?
