Apparently Graybar's Allen Tel company has decided to discontinue their DSL Splitter, part number AT626DSL (very similar to the one by Siecor, part number SPS-H70-SR1).
Does anyone have an alternative that's outdoor grade, like the Allen Tel and Siecor, but cheaper than the Siecor?
I believe I've found that Suttle, part number 649A1 is comparable. Is that right? If so, which supply houses carry Suttle? (I remember Alltel Supply carried Suttle, but I need some other options now).
Thanks!
Justin

We have been using splitters from Keptel- #LPF-200 and a TA-230 Adjunct Box to put it in. These are nice because they will snap into a Keptel NID enclosure slot instead of a line module/protector. Verizon often uses Keptel NIDs.
Only problem is I have had two of these splitters so far fail by shorting.
I'll check on those numbers. I know Famous handles Suttle.
Just checked and that Suttle looks good.

I forgot about Keptel. I think I saw in the past that they also had them, both what you were referring to, and the one like the numbers I gave.
All I've found for Keptel, so far, is the TA-230, which is basically what you mentioned, only in its own box. I'd like to find one that's setup the same as the Siecor/Allen Tel/Suttle.
So who handles Keptel?

I've ordered from GB.
Keptel/Suttle are ususally very good.
I get the heavey duty ones from a company in CA, but they are in-door only.

the TA-230, which is basically what you mentioned, only in its own box.
No, the TA-230 is the box, it will actually hold two LPF-200s. You order the box and the splitter separately. Could be that wherever you are looking sells them together as TA-230.
I will agree that the actual Keptel site on this is hard to find. After looking at the Suttle 649A1 both are very similar. I would have no problem with using Suttle instead.
