I am trying to use an analog phone with the Panasonic Kxta-824. Dailing internally, it works fine (like if I dial extension 110, it works). If I try to dial out (by pressing 9), it doesn't take. It works with the Panasonic phones but not the analog single line phone.
Any suggestions on programming? Can the 9 requirement be changed to a different digit?
Thanks!

No, it cant change, if dialing 9 works on key set but not on the analouge extension it could be 2 things 1 that extension is not assigned lines out. 2. Check if there is any line port open that there is no line on i.e if you only have 2 co make sure all other co ports are disabled

Engenius, Are you saying that on a Panasonic system phone you can press intercom, 9 and get a CO line but if you plug that slt or analog set as you call it into the SAME port you can't get a CO line by pressing 9? ----------------- MrG
