Does anyone have a procedure for enabling caller id on an 824? And how to set up retrieval of caller id info on a 7731?

In the programming caller id is set per line in prog 900 and set for slt on 628. you have to have a cid card in the system (1 per 3 lines)

To set buttons you have common area cid and personal. you program the buttons 1. program , press button enter 96 for common caller id indication ( lights when missed call and shows number when pressed)
2 program, button to be set, 97 common caller id selection. ( this shows the info i.e time and date

The codes are for uk models, may vary for USA

You can erase the calls by pressing transfer while looking at the number

Do you have to hit a 4 digit number on the phones you want to have the caller id feature activated?

When scrolling thru caller id numbers, does the system tell you which CO the call came in on?

Also, when programming caller Id selection, and caller id indication, does this have to be done on each phone you want to review caller id calls?

thanks,

No thats is done in main programing for (slt only), the key sets should show CID without any setup, but only on ringing phones.

I would only put common area call log on one phone, but if you want any phone to see it you will need them on all phones.

I dont think it shows co, not sure will look at next system i am at to see.

If you have a private line set ( dil 1:1) to an extension use personal cid indication and selection buttons.
