i just installed a 8 port CID card kx-tda0193xj and i put it in the right most port of the card and i did not touch any of the switch, and tryed also the dtmf, fsk, and visual cid options but cant get the card to work, can any body help. please.

As far as I know the card should go on the left side( Beside metal plane for the first 8 lines. the switches should not have to be changed (all on)
Make sure you have caller id coming in on the lines, use a standard phone with caller id to check lines. Just check on card settings the caller id is enabled.( on by default, but no harm checking

got the cid working now, thanks a lot. but how do i get the info from the cid, like miss calls, and will i be able to see the info on all handsets. all handsets are digital

You set up call log buttons on keysets. if using a incoming call group for inbound calls put that number in after call log-
