to the BB. As you are "across the pond" as it were, I'll let one of the guys on your side answer but you might want to find the main control box and get the number and model off it...the set is used on several different control units. I will assume you are meaning you want both lines of information on the caller ID. Depending on the control unit what codes and button programming will be necessary. Enjoy the board and .

Hi Ken, Thanks for your prompt reply. Yes i do mean both lines of information on the call ID. I think it is just a case of some kind of programming in the phone itself. I have looked all through the manual but no help there.
Look forward to someone else replying

This is assuming you have the some sort of caller id info displayed now.If this is a KX-TD you must hit the * button during the ringing call to toggle between name and number ,only the 7436/56 6 line display phone give all info at once.

Spectrum Welding, it shouldn't be anything in the phone. Your probably using a TD system although it could be a TDA. The 7433 set has 3 lines of display and if the name is coming in it should be displayed under the number. I would check the incoming lines before the system with a CID box and make certain you have the name coming in. ------------------- MrG

Julie, it has nothing at all to do with the reply. It's only a signiture "Tag" That particular tag simply refers to servic calls. You'll see it changes from time to time. As I said previously, "The 7433 set has 3 lines of display and if the name is coming in it should be displayed under the number." You are correct, If the name is actually coming in then it should be on the display. That's why I said, "I would check the incoming lines before the system with a CID box and make certain you have the name coming in." There is no special programming, if your receiving the number and the name is being sent from the provider, it should be there on a KX-T7433. Ref: user Man. page 316 ------------------ MrG

Spectrum Welding, in the kxtd system you have to put in (9-phone number) for name to be displayed You use the conf key to get the -. if you have 9123456 it will not show name if you have 9-123456 it will pull name.
