Hello everyone, I am sorry for the wrong message I posted yesterday.Can anyone help me with this, I have a Panasonic KX-tda100 and I wanted to save its SMDR into a file so that I could print it on a weekly basis can anyone help me please....I have wasted a week on doing a work around and I am in a tight budget so I hope some one could help me. I would appreciate your help.

Is the system giving out the data already. if answer is yes, what are you collecting the info on. are you using hyperterminal

In Hyperterminal. One of the options there is to "capture Data". You can then specify the filename and it will capture the live data as it comes in.

However, if you're looking for reports like which extensions made the most call, or to a certain number, Hyperterminal cannot do this. What you get from it would be pages and pages of raw SMDR data.

In hyperterminal, you just set up the settings to the com port you are using and set baud rate to 19200 and the stop bit = none and word lenght = 8
control = x-on/x-off
and it will collect the data

as mrengineer said this will give you all the data and you would have to trawl through it or inport it to. you could save this as a text file and import it in to excel or purchase a telephone billing software which will do all the work
