Hey folks; Wondering if anyone can shed some light on how I would go about shutting off the auto attendant feature of a TVS50 voice mail system integrated with a TD816. Currently all calls are answered by the auto attendant & the customers wants the calls to ring directly in to the phones. They would like to keep the voice mail feature for internal use but don't want any calls to forward to voice mail.

Busy, It's all done in the TD816 programming. Disable the DIL 1-1. in fields 407 & 408 You may need to set up the ringing assignments on the phones as well. Are familiar with the programming? ------------------- MrG

MrG The extent of my exposure is having dabbled with the programming via the programator software. I have a customer that sent me out to the site to fix his "Nitsuko" phone system & found the Panasonic hanging on the wall. It has been some time since I've had the need to even touch a Panasonic so all I can ask is for you to be gentle.

If you know how to get into programming in the 816 then it shouldn't be that bad. Like Gemini said, change pgm 407 & 408 to disable, it's most likely pointing to 165 right now.
If you are able to set those to disable, then what phones ring during the day & night is controlled in pgm 603 & 604.
