We've got a TDA200 system connected to a TVA200 with 2 LCOT16 cards and 2 DLC16 cards. (I know, "go to PRI", I keep telling them)
The problem is this. Randomly, the system will blank out several phones (the screen on many phones goes blank) and then the they come back - existing calls are still connected - the caller just hears dead air for about 10 seconds.
I finally got the client to look at the system immediately after an event and one of the LCOT16 cards and one of the DLC16 cards are lit red instead of green.
The only way they can get the system back is to restart it.
Should I look to the power supply? Is one of the cards going?
Anyone have this happen before?
Thanks!!

Flashing red is out of service, could be a overload. what telephones are they using , 76xx or 74xx? I have heard of one person with a somethins similar, they changed the system and same fault, didn't hear the outcome, I will try and contact him. could be tuesday before I will get him though.

The only time I've had issues like this happen it's been a bad card. Sounds like you might have a couple on their way out. Easiest thing would be to replace the suspect cards and see if the problem goes away.
