I use KXT7433 - the caller id disappears after answering the call. Is there a way to retrive the called ID info while talking on the conversation with te caller? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks [email protected] sns227@gmail.com

What comes up on the display, the 7433 should see the number even when the timer comes on. In main programming you can choose what is shown and is preset to caller. this could have change. do you have access to main programming on system. Is the system a td 816/1232

SNS, A TD816/1232 version 4 or higher allowed you to keep the CID information on the display after answering. By default it should be set to remain, field 990, area 9, bit 9. I suspect you may have an older version.
You should be able to log the Info. by pressing the "log" button under the display after you answer the call. This will also light the "shift" indicator red. Pressing the shift key will change the display to show old and new. Pressing the key under old or new and you will see Info.-------Clr.----------Next. --------------- MrG
