if its on a kxte 824/308 just press program then press the button, dial 1 then enter extension number, press auto dial store. press program to exit

On the 7030, you must place the programming switch on the back of the phone where the line cord enters into the "PROG" position, then press the button, dial 1 + the extension number, then press the autodial/store button to save it. Once all buttons are done, return the switch back to the "SET" position.
