Since stereo actually refers to equpment that broadcasts in two seperate channels for 3D effect, paging in stereo would really not apply here. However, if your customer is really looking for high quality paging, there are many solutions. Depending on the size of coverage, standard paging speakers such as PTEC's from Bogen and a quality 100w amplifier will do just fine. The key is to make sure you have the right number of speakers to cover the area. This eliminates the need to increase the volume, resulting in more wattage, which in turn means more distortion. Making sure you have a clean input into the amplifier is also key. If they really are insistant on top shelf equipment, I can probably dig up the specs of the sound and paging system the company I worked for a few years ago installed in the Pepsi Center in Denver.
