Have a TDA 50 with 6 portables in a ring group. Caller ID is not showing up on the portables, but does on the 7633's. I can dil 1:1 to each portable and get CID, but when they are put in the ring group the line label is all that is displayed. PS Ring group is set to caller ID name.

are the portable stations intergrated dect or standard cordless phones, if standard cordless phones you will need a extension CID card for the slt's to have caller Id

I heard that if the phones are 7600 portable stations and they are in a PS ring group only the 1st PS in the group will read caller ID, this is if the tda50 is an older version, I think lower than 3 not sure. What version are you at?

The phones are 7680's and 7684's. There are 2 sell stations and the system is a current Version 4.0. Tech support at Panasonic has my blood pressure up over this and stated: if you have more than two cordless phones communicating through the same cell station, the cordless phone will not get caller ID info. The phones get CID when I DIL 1:1 to the station, but not when I DIL 1:1 to the ps ring group

Is it possible to take them out of the ps ring group and put each ps extension in an icd group? If so I'm sure all ps' will show caller ID.

Panasonic strongly recommends placing the ps' into a ring group. I found that just placing the extension in the IDC caused intermittent problems with the portables receiving a ring signal. When we place them into a ps ring group, that problem was solved.

I continue to have issues with this CID transmission to a PS ring group. I can send when the ps extensions are in a ICD group, without the ps ring group in it, but when there are more than two extensions in range of one cell station it can not ring all of the ps phones. Does anyone know if Panasonic just has an issue with this?? I am told that it was corrected with version 4 but continue to have the same problem after upgrading two different systems.
