hey all, i just bought 3 new kx-t7433 phones for my office. i want to replace 3 analogue phones with these new ones. i understand that in my office, the digital phones all start with extension 3xx where as the analogue ones start 2xx. i figured that if i took analogue phone on extension say 205, unplugged it, abd replaced it with a digital phone in socket 305, that would work. however, although the digital phone powers up and works fine for internal calls, when we try to get an outside line, i get the error CO not assigned.
any ideas how to fix this?
cheers in advance,
dave

dave press program button and 99 then press flexi key 1,2,3,4 and see on the screen it should show co 01, co 02 etc.
If not press 001 and store on button 1 see if you can get a line If not then the extension may be blocked for lines out What extension is the digital extension on On the uk system 201 is digital and 301 is slt If xdp is off both digital and analogue are the same number When you say analogue do you have a phone that dial 9 with no lights?

You will need to have someone that is familiar with the system go into the programming and change the line assignment. There are also other features that you may want programmed such as ring and DSS.
