Greetings All, Awhile back we sold a customer the above mentioned cordless because it was the only two-line cordless we had used with success. Is there a way to disable the answering machine? The customer wants, under-no-circumstances, callers to get machine. After about 12 or 14 rings the machine picks up even if ans mach is off. These paticular cordless' are great phones, the customers like them. I was told it is a feature for the over 40 crowd, so if we forget to turn ans mach on it can still be accessed??:{

Most of the Panasonic answering machines will switch on after 12 rings for the reason of people forgetting to turn it on, I have not seen anyway to stop it with out affecting warranty
