I have just been landed with the job of assigning some of the companies Direct Dial numbers to their appropriate extensions. I have read through the programming manual which tells me to program via the handset on ext 1 and then key in 150 and enter the required DDI. Thing is when I do this it just beeps at me without going any further.
I have also tried using the Programator software but the DDI box is greyed.
Any clues as to what I may be doing wrong?

Bilbo, on the U.S. versions you would need a KX-TD 185 card and the system would have to be a version 3 or higher. ------------------------------ MrG

how are you getting into programming? are you getting to the stage where its asking for a sys pgm no? if so it sounds like you version is 3 or 4. Use prog no's 618 to aim a ddi at a single ext and 112 to aim at a pre-programmed group.
