I have a customer who has an older DBS system 192
They had an Active Voice Repartee system that finally gave up the ghost on them. I replaced it with an Amanda voicemail system. Their extensions start at 100....I have 4 exts #208-211 that I can't get thier voicemail to pickup when you call them. I have set thier call forwarding permanent up in the phone system to the voicemail group which is 160.
When I call one of the extensions and I set up a trace on the voiceamail so that I can see what is happening (which codes and digits I receive from the phone system) I get nothing so by default the voicemail plays the auto-attendant greeting. Is there something that needs to be programmed in the phone system?... I have scoured the manual and I can't find anything. Help me please!!!!!! help :bang:

Have you programmed the integration digits for the Call Forwarding on the extensions in question? What about the other extensions? Do they FWD to VM correctly?

There are extensions that work fine in regards to going to voicemail. I went through all of the FF4 extension programming and both the extensions that work and the ones that don't have the same programming. Is there another area in programming that you have enter information for extensions to make sure that they go to voicemail?

I belive you have to pgm ID digits at each phone.
Sent you link to manual pages. Have not done in a while. Richard can most likely give specifics.

From the user guide, set the vm follow-on id from any digital set: On/Off, Prog, Auto,*,ext no,xxxx where xxxx is the follow-on id that the vm is expecting,Hold.
