Today's flavor is 4.4.1

Please don't get caught like I just did.
I Got a TDA200, but the enhanced SD chip shipped a week later.

So, I loaded the new tool to my desktop XP machine and did offline programming.

Got the chip, not only wouldn't it load, but it would lock out the ability to work on it even when re-registered.

Called out for help from Olympus, where they sent me a patch to upgrade the SD chip from 3.2 to 5.0 and match the new software.
Then the load went fine.

I took the system to the field, and went to use my laptop.

HOWEVER, it has WIN ME. This PC worked fine on the old tool which would have programmed the old version chip without a hitch. Now that the TDA was "upgraded" I had to install the 4.4.1 tool. Unfortunatelly they have no intention of providing drivers, so I had to buy a new laptop mid install.

Oh one other thing......Don't bother trying to find the help files. They left them out for the TDA. I think it's so you can go get a TDE instead.

Next lifetime I'm gonna be a plumber. They can always see where the S))))'s coming from.
