I have a customer that wants to add a TVA50 to his TDA50, and I would like to know if the setup is similar to the Kxtd816/1232 or Kxta624/824 in which you program an extension port as a voicemail port and then run quick setup on the voicemail, it intergrates with the system and then you customize it. I know that in the 624/824 it's program 130,131 and in the 816/1232 it's program 117, what would be the program in the TDA50. I want to set it for the VM to answer all calls. Thanks

You need to software to go into port programming to change for voicemail. Other then that it is pretty easy to set-up. Are you a dealer? If not it will take a dealer with the software to do the programming.

Thanks It is 'kind of' similar but also totally different. Whereas the TVS50 would generally be programmed using hyperterminal via a serial connection....the TVA50 can be programmed via a usb port using the maintenance console that is provided for the TVA50. Some of the settings are 'sort of' redundant and retarded but once you get the hang of it should take you no longer than 30 minutes to completely program the voice mail with settings custom tailored for the customer. :db:
