Hello.
I have a Panasonic KX-TDA 100 installed at my office from a certified technician, but now he doesn't answer my calls.
He has setted for us on OGM -501 a message that says "Welcome. Press 1 for sales 2 for support. Otherwise hold".
I want to: 1 change the outgoing message and 2: to change selection 2. I want the caller to be forwarded to another extension.
I think I can change these things myself with some guidance.
Please help me! Can I do it from the digital-phones' screens or should I connect my Panasonic with a PC through USB and then have the technician's Cd Programming?
Can I download anywhere the technician's Programming CD?
THANKS!

My question is: WHY isn't he answering your calls?

Do you owe him money? That's one reason I can think of. Maybe he went out of business.

And by the way, you can't download the program to use a PC to program. It is for certified dealers only and we can lose our dealership is it is provided to anyone.

94Astro, it is a messaging card that you can setup a simple aa bit like disa but limited the recording is a user option but to setup dialing plan you need the of tool
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”

Good to know, must be the SVM card. I gotta play around with one of those. Can you get an SVM card to act like an answering machine? "Sorry we're not in, leave amessage after the beep"

To re-record the greeting you need to dial *361501 tone "record" autodial/store to finish. The phone you do this from must be set up as a manager in COS so you would have to to do from the phone that you originally recorded the message on.(probably the main operators phone).

Astro, yes the svm will act as a mailbox very basic though
Billybluelight, that will allow him to record the greeting But he needs the prog tool to change where option 2 goes
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”

OBT and Billy Blue, couldn't agree more.
You must change the routing through programming (trained engineer).
To re-record the OGM on the DISA dial *361-MSG No. (501) You will see WAIT in the display you can start your message when the counter appears. Dial *362-MSG No. (501) to hear the message back to check you are happy with it.
