First post so be gentle please.
I have a TD1232 with 2 users that will not accept message waiting indication, from a voicemail or manually by dialling the extn and pressing message or 4. The phone displays "does not accept message waiting".
Panasonic tech have said to default the kit and reprogram which sounds a bit extreme for a small fault.
Any thoughts before I squash the system?

What kind of phones?

They are both KXT7433. The system is a V6.

That was one of the first things we did and it hasn't worked. I have been through COS and can't find any reference to this in any manual.
