I have a uniden phone with built in answering machine hooked up to my kxta824. all calls are routed to receptionist and to this phone so that when no one is here we can get a message. Well all of the sudden we get no messages any more. I come to work and that phone says "incoming call" on its built in screen and I have to pick it up and rehang it to get it to work again. seems to freeze up whenever anyone hangs up on the machine. it is just stuck on "incoming call"
Any ideas?

Put your butt set on the extension and let calls come into it. Monitor the answering machine and see what happens. I think you'll find a problem with the machine. Let us know the outcome.
