Is this a complete system with intercom?

https://cgi.ebay.com/Panasonic-VA-2...40%3A1318%7C301%3A0%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

EDIT: One reason I was looking at this was that I already have a the Panasonic Ease-a-Phone model KX-T2315. Is that a compatible phone with this system?

Thanks

Yes, the KSU is complete for 2 lines and 4 stations and it does provide intercom between extensions. Expansion cards are (were) available to add up to 4 more stations. The problem you are going to have is getting phones that work with this KSU. This system is very rare and the phones are even more rare. It was only on the market for a few years and didn't do very well due to the two-line limitation.

No, the KX-T2315 phone is not a compatible system phone. It can be used as a single-line set if the KSU is equipped with an SLT station card.

This was the first Panasonic system I ever sold, back in the mid 80's. It was a good little system, and I think it helped Panasonic get into the key system business. As the unit aged, it seemed like a couple of relays on the co ports would get dirty and cause static. I probably have a handful of VA-20820's (phones) and KSU's in the attic.

Those were tough little units but blew fuses easy if anything was wrong with the wiring. You would be better off looking for an old KX-T61610 KSU then it will also handle SLT and the phones are easier to find.

If it was built after 1980 don't expect it to work right.
