Hey Guys,
We have a Panasonic KX-TD1232 here that's been in service quite a while. During some calls the line will make a clicking sound and then we cannot hear the caller speaking for a short period of time as if the line has gone dead but it then picks back up and you can continue the call.

We have had our telco check all of the stuff on their end, they ran tests on the T1 line for 72 hours and did not notice any strange occurrences.

I was wondering if you guys had any experience with this sort of phenomenon, it happens on random lines with out any real pattern.

Lastly I tried looking in the programming guide but wasn't sure which was the right program. How can I take a line completely out of operation, such as remove CO9 and/or how can I set the default line which the phone picks up when off hook. Right now it defaults to Line 9 (the last line we have)

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I'm confused. Is the service POTS lines, or T-1, or PRI or what. When the symptom occurs, does the flex co button stay lit or does it go out as though the call has been terminated? Is this happening on multiple phones, and if so, what model? Older 7030's had two microswitches for the hookswitch, that when they started to go bad, bumping the phone could cause audio to go, or drop the call, depending on which switch was bad. Just some more ideas about symptoms.
