Is anyone else having problems logging into their remote sites with the new improved maintenance console?
I find it works well with the older TDA software (saves me from upgrading software) but I am having problems with the TDE modems.
I have 2 possibilities:
1) these cablevision Voip circuits that I am hooking my modem to degrade the quality of the analog signal.
OR
2) I have an existing LAN card on site that I am using for local programming, there could be a conflict with the modem.
any feedback would be appreciated.

No responses.....I'm assuming nobody else is having any problems with this new maintenance console. It works on all Panasonic software versions, everytime. correct??

If your modem is connected to a voip line, I would think you would be having numerous problems just connecting, not to mention programming fields such as Extension Settings, which take quite a while to load on a dial-up situation. If you have access to a POTS line on site maybe try that to see if it makes a difference. I had a location that was an integrated access line, which was a long distance location, and it was nearly impossible to connect. Once the customer switched back to POTS service with decent long distance provider, it was connect first time every time.
If I am dialing into an older version of software, I pull up a batch file first so the tool is the correct version before I dial in, eliminating the need to dial in twice.
This is assuming that when you say you have trouble logging in, and then you talk about the modem, you are talking about dial-up modem access.

As of today,7-7-09, Panasonic has a new version 4.4.2.3 available for download on the dealer website. Maybe there are some fixes in it?
