Good Morning
My Customer has a Panasonic DBS 42050 8 X 24
they can Hear the inbound caller but they cannot speak to the caller .. Its as if all the Mic's are Muted.. Same when the call out. I need Help on this.. Thanks

Vance, is this something that just happened?
Did you try resetting the system?

What do you get with your Buttset when you test the lines? I've never ran across this with a DBS. Some good ol'fashioned troubleshooting is in order.

System has been reset.. Lines work good with Buttset.. I believe they had a Storm. They Didn't have any Surge protection what so ever.
This system is in their house.. I'm an Avaya Tech who does service and Installs for their Commercial buildings..Should I replace the KSU and start over?? Thanks for your Help

Is this something that is on all phones, and all co lines? If it is only one phone other than the obvious tel set or cords, maybe it is a bad port on the control unit. If it is all phones on one specific co line, maybe a bad line port on the control unit.
If the customer has just changed service providers, this has the sound of sip trunk problems, or integrated access problems. In this case as Richard has said, the buttset ahead of the system will determine that.

Well I have tested the POTS Lines with My Buttset and they work Like they Should.. I have a DBS 824 Carrier on it's way.. I have NO Talk path... I hope this works.. I'm Blind on this one
These are POTS Nothing fancy..
