Quick question looking for as much information as I can. I've been reading on here a lot about the "CPC" setting regarding a call disconnect signal. In the MC, where do I find these settings? Now that I've stated my question, here's the issue: We have about 15 PS and 9 CS on this site, and the client is reporting that when a call comes in and he picks up a cordless, it seems that no one is there. I have talked extensively with Panasonic tech support to make sure the ring groups are setup correctly. I did notice today, however, that when I call the site, and immediately hang up when the phones start to ring, they continue ringing for about 2-4 seconds. Is this a sign that the disconnect signal is not being sent?

Sounds as if the cell stations may not be set up properly. Is this a PRI. Do the cordless work properly otherwise? Are you using PS ring groups.

In response to your question about calling the site, and hanging up immediately. The system detects ringing on a specific co port, and starts to signal all devices programmed to ring. If one of the devices is a cell station, the system signals the cs, which in turn signals the ps, and that process is going to complete a cycle before stopping when the system sees the caller abandoned the call. I would think it is common to see 2-4 seconds, since a ring cycle is usually a 5 second period.

Are they getting complaints from the incoming callers or can you reproduce the situation?

I agree about the abandoned call.

I explained this so many times in the old KTS days! 1 ring would start the interupter and once started you'd get 3 ring cycles even if the call was gone or otherwise intercepted ahead of the system.
