I have by mistake followed quick setup wizard while setting up NCP1000 and might be operator assignment enabled in error. Now all incoming calls are only ringing at 101, the operator.

This is a house and I would like all CO calls ringing at all extensions and then AA with options and then VM. If you can show me how to do it using IP phone or PC using MC.

I also have built in Voice Mail (2 port) system on IPCMPR card and I could not access it by dialing 591. All ext has been setup with CARD1(A). If you could help how to setup or access it would be great.

Thanks,

RD

You have to have the CO ring to an ICD group and make the extensions members of the ICD group.
As for the SVM, have you enabled it?

Kevhawk, Thank you for quick reply. I have checked that all exts are member of ICD group # 001 and CO is ringing to that group. I have dig into every where in management console but could not find a solution. I have one more last trick to try using PT to program #006. Do you think that might help?

SVM is enabled under IPCMPR card and its in "INS" mode. All exts are set to CARD1(A). I have 101 is working OK with VM but I was forced to record a greeting using *38, 1 to make its mailbox working. I guess I have to do it for all ext one by one. I am not sure it has AA for common greeting with options.

Brokeda, I respect you and everybody else here in this forum and doesn't matter how many post they have submitted (less than 36 or more than 1370) but I see you having difficulties lately with me and person asking for help with FreeSwitch. Why don't we just simply add value without worrying about others knowledge and capacity. BTW, I am ready to lauch a space shuttle from my back yard as soon as I have money, time and team members like Mr.G, Kevhawk and OBT who share their knowledge.

I am sorry guys for long post for no obvious reason. I am begging for help and people make laugh about it.

Thank you again,

RD

Well I guess I did go off the deep end with Wall Mart. Is this your first unit to install after certification? They can be confusing when your tired.

Do you have the Manuals?
Are you using CO lines, not PRI?
Are lines set to ring ICD 601 in all time periods.
What time mode is the system in?
In the member list is ring set to IMMED?
Just sounds as if no destination is set.
Not using SIP trunks are we?

rd, you're probably not gonna like this, but it sounds like you're in way over your head. The NCP programming is identical to the TDE, TDA, and essentially, the TAW. Are you experienced in programming any of these systems?
Assigning the ring destination to ICD group 601 is extremely basic, whether through a PT or a PC. However, it's best if you program through the PC.
Program 006 will get you nowhere...

Never used the SVM, does it even have AA capability???
Maybe Mr. G or Kev can answer this.
There is an enhanced SVM out also is there not?

Brokeda, Thanks for considering me, I appreciate your and others time. Yes, It is my first Panasonic installation. I have done Avaya and Cisco UC520 before and supporting all including AT&T System 25. Mr. G, you are a cheer leader, Thanks.

Do you have the Manuals? > Yes, I do.
Are you using CO lines, not PRI? >CO line only (2)
Are lines set to ring ICD 601 in all time periods? > Do not know but when I dial 601 all phones rings though.
What time mode is the system in? > All 4 Modes.
In the member list is ring set to IMMED? > Yes.
Just sounds as if no destination is set. > 101 does ring.
Not using SIP trunks are we? > No SIP trunks in use.

Kevhawk13, You are right, I have been forced to do this, learning it everyday from people like you and others in this forum and I love it. I liked using PC with MC. Terminology is difficult and confusing as Brokeda said for each vendors.

I will try again with all comments in mind and let you know the result.

Thank you all,

RD
