Hi
I have installed 2 caller id cards into the kits CID ports 1 & 2, customer has 5 lines with caller display.
If the previous system supplier hasn't connected the 5 lines into the right ports, can this affect caller id not working?
Thanks.

is the card for lines 7 and 8 installed, if you have 2 cards for cid and only 6 co's on the cid it should work. if all 8 co ports are installed then turn off co 7 and 8 to be sure. make sure the caller id is turned on with BT

no card for lines 7&8 installed.
my backup suggests co ports 7&8 are not currently switched off - could this be creating an issue?
caller display has been enabled by bt.

if the card is not installed then it wont matter.
get them to swap line 1 and 5 and see what happens

I tried another an older cid card instead of the brand new cid card which looks abit different.
The old one worked staight away, so appears to be a version / software incompatible issue.
