Our company inherited a RightFax (Version 8.0)server and we are now charged with attaching it to a new domain controller (SBS 2003 RC2) for one of our clients. Yes, we know this software version is end-of-life. When attempting this task in a recent test, the RightFax software loaded but will not run when we attached it to the new domain controller.... meaning we cannot access program settings and everything is "grayed out" in the application. Any RightFax gurus out there that could help us? Thanks.

Is this running on it's own server, what is the OS? If so then you could to remove it from the domain and run it as a stand alone server just use the domain name as the workgroup name. If you really want to get creative then change the Domain Group Policy's. It sounds like there is a domain wide policy that is causing the problem.
If it is installed on the SBS server then you have a user rights issue. This would be in the Local Group Policy's.
