Robbed DSS port for a phone. I recovered the port and its not used. Now I am having trouble making the 24 button side car (VB-44130) work again. I have made the port type 13 and paired the port with the phone port. Not sure what else to look at. thanks for the help.

How many DSS's are there total system wide? Depending on the CPC version, it may be a different set type. Do you know the CPC type?

Only 2 DSS's (working before) I forgot to see the CPC type. Is it a requirement to be an attendant and be connected to port 1 or 2 to have a working DSS?

No, it doesn't have to be an attendant, nor connected to a specific port. The set type is the most important factor.

Did you rewire the jack to accomodate the DSS unit?
