voice mail was working fine ,now suddenly ext. 112 can not receive v/m,phone continues to ring without going to v/m. checked subscribers guide for incomplete call handling to activate leave message, did not resolve the issue, any idea as to where i need to go,i'm certain it is something that was done unintentionally by the user, not in programming.

most cases it is that the user has switched off the call forward to v/m to check this we will need to know 1. what is the model of the phone system 2. dial 165 do you hear the voicemail answer? if not try 265 if so and the phone system is a KX-TD, Series System from the user handset lift handset and dial 7105165# or 7105265# Peter ( www.vpi.ie)

If the phone is a Panasonic Proprietary set, is the FWD/DND Button flashing? If not, then the phone is NOT forwarded to vmail. To call forward, Lift handset with INTERCOM dialtone, dial 712107#, Hangup. This will do a fwd busy/na to vmail.

will this call forward feature prevent the user from answering the phone when she is at her desk ? when does one use this feature? can the user mistakingly turn it off? i do not know if this has to be left on for voice mail to work properly. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

To answer your questions in order: no, as long as they answer before the no answer timer expires; to forward calls to voicemail if the users extension is busy or if they don't answer; yes; yes
