We have a TVA50 KX-TA824 I would like the following to happen but it doesn't.
When a caller calls to the operator and they are busy I want the call to hold but it doesn't it just goes to voicemail.
Also if the operator doesn't answer can it ring all ext's and if no one answers then move the call to the operator mailbox.
Is this possible?

It sounds like the operator's phone is set to forward to voicemail under busy/no-answer. Turn this off, that way the caller should have the option of holding or calling another extension. The TA824 doesn't have ring groups. If you have an open extension and an open CO port you may be able to setup a work around. ------------------- MrG
