Hello,

So our company has multiple TVA50s hooked up 3 different types of Panasonic phone systems. We just installed these systems in the last 2 months, and I admit I have been learning as I go. So please forgive me if these issues were already resolved and seem too easy smile .

For voicemail I was wondering if we can eliminate the auto attendant that says Sorry no one is available to take your call, press 1 to leave a message, and it just plays the user's voicemail?

The other is the TAW848 question. I have a user who is using a Panasonic kx-t7731 and wants to transfer all calls to a Panasonic cordless phone on ext 301. I've had her try Fwd/DND, 1, 301, # but she doesnt get a tone or anything. She gets the busy signal.

Any help would be appreciated. Im hoping to look into getting certified on these when I have the time as they seem to be pretty good systems.

Hi Don, welcome
If you set the extensions to forward to the voicemail under busy (3), no answer(4) or busy/no answer(5) then the voicemail should pickup with that individual extensions greeting.

As for the 7731 to the cordless, you don't want to transfer calls, you want to forward them.
For all calls, at the 7731,
press intercom, *710 2 301#

Hi Mr G,

Thank you for the correction yes I meant to say forwarding (I needed more coffee when I typed this out). That worked for them.

With the instructions for the voicemail, is that to be programmed on the phones, or with in mailbox *998 or with the TVA50 software? I have all the offices hooked up to a old laptop that I use Remote desktop to get into to access the consoles (Saves me a couple hundred dollars on the card)to make most changes.

Have the user forward their phone to voicemail at their phone.
I suggest busy/no answer.
