phones ring once and then drop the call... when pick up, cant connect. i call from outside line, get one ring and nothing. the 824 control unit sounds like its making a brief "buZZ" after the first ring, then it drops. Can make calls out ok on all 3 of my lines. but not incoming. i did some changing of extensions today, but nothing more than moving and removing a few extensions in their jacks. Thoughts? Bad WAF here at home.

George, what the heck is WAF? Disconnect all extensions and see if it still disconnects. If yes, look at the CO feed wiring from your Dmarc to the system. If No, the plug in the extensions 1 at a time and test each time. I'm guessing it's bad extension wiring or maybe a bad set. -------------------------- MrG

u were right! pulled the extensions, then one by one. found the culprit, but so odd that its one we use less frequently and odd that it happened today while I was screwing around. i changed sets, its the wiring... so i dont know where to begin on that one. i will run some test tone.
