I got my panasonic certification (tde100-200-600) a couple of months ago, but my stupid boss didn't have time to send me to voicemail course. I have played on an already installed tvm50 before, but never new install.

I only have analog ports (the 4 hybrid onboard are taken for DT343 phones) on a SLC8 card; reading the tvm manual about APT or inband integration makes no sense to me with the dip switches and all; I'm on site right now. dont know what to do to start it up.

Ok, I managed to make it work; now, how do I set up the automatic log-in, so that I dial 500 from extension and password then # instead of the 500 #6 *1234 # sequence??

if you have a TVM50 get an expansion card for the tda 30, you will lose some fetures using analogue ext ports.

it can be worked on analogue line if you set up the slt ports and analogue vm group properly.

or run 2 of the dt343 off the back of each other and use that digital port for the vm. you don't need the full hybrid extension for vm, 1 digital port will give you 2 vm ports

Boss needs to go to school to order proper equipment.
Get a 4 port digital card at least if slot open, very cheap. Why cripple a perfectly good Voice Mail? Auto setup only works with digital integration APITS or DPITS.

TDA30 lastest software supports dt343 "piggy-backing"? I thought only 100-200-600 did; well thanks for all the suggestions; I will try some of those when I go back...

I have to get the Nortel way of thinking out of my head!

Also, is it why I can't get in my mailboxes directly with auto-logging, if I don't use digital ports...?

Over here v1.1 allowed the first 4 ports on the tda 15 and all ports on the tda30, with digital ports on vm that will all work
you can get it to do it with analogue lines as well but not as easy
